OBGYN MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Plaza OBGYN is seeking to hire a Medical Assistant with experience in OBGYN. We are looking for a candidate who has at least 2 years experience in an OBGYN outpatient facility as a Medical Assistant and has done documentation in E-Clinical.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist physician as needed on the exam room.
- Assist with rooming the patients and make sure the exam rooms are well-supplied and clean.
- Updates patient history, and other pertinent health information in the patient' chart.
- Triage patients phone calls.
- Order labs, schedule studies and send prescriptions.
- Performs other duties and tasks to improve provider productivity and clinic workflow as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Medical Assisting experience in OBGYN.
- Medical Scribing skills
- Organizational skills
- Professionalism, confidentiality, and organization
- Candidate need to be pleasant and friendly and able to multi-task.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Nursing career track preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Familiar with E-Clinical medical software.
